Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) is Cisco's first certification on the pathway to becoming a network professional. CCENT validates the ability to install, operate and troubleshoot a small office network, including basic network security. This course covers networking fundamentals, introduction to Cisco switches and routers, LAN & WAN technologies, basic network security and wireless concepts, routing and switching structure, and configuring simple networks.

By doing this course, a network professional can achieve the skills required for entry-level network support positions in an organisation. CCENT is the starting point for many successful careers in networking field and it is the first step toward achieving CCNA.
